Cable television provider Telecable has brought a complaint before the Superintendency of Telecommunications (Sutel) that alleges monopolistic practices on the part of their competitor, Amnet TV. Telecable asserts that deals offered by Amnet.
TVto switch from Telecable is at below market prices.
The basic fee charged by Amnet for regular service is ¢16,000 per month, however the Telecable customers were offered service for ¢10,500, which is less than the ¢12,000 rate charged by Telecable.
